Adding family enrollments

The Family Enrollment option allows you to enter entire families for a particular client. It also allows default information to be set once for all families entered in the same session. This presents a quick and efficient way to add subscribers and their families when there is a lot of data to enter.

  1. Select Family Enrollment.
  1. Once a client and subclient have been selected (see Specifying a client and subclient), the Family Enrollment Default Selection screen appears.
  1. Select the values you want to use for all members of the families to be entered.
  2. Select Set Defaults to continue to the Family Enrollment screen.
  3. Enter the member ID (SSN or CAID) for the first primary member.
  4. The Family Enrollment screen displays information about the plan, client and subclient, and the member number. Received Date is set to the current date; enter a different date if necessary. Fill in the member's information, making sure to fill in any required fields. See below for information on specific fields.
  1. When finished, select Add Dependent to add a dependent. The Dependent Information screen is appended to the Family Enrollment screen. Each Dependent Information screen is assigned a number. The first Dependent Information screen appended is labelled Dependent Information 1, the second is labelled  Dependent Information 2, and so on.
  2. Fill in the dependent's information, making sure to fill in any required fields. Received Date is set to the current date, enter a different date if necessary. See below for information on specific fields.
  3. Repeat the last two steps to add other dependents if needed.
  4. When all dependents are entered, select Enroll. You'll see a confirmation message and be prompted for the next primary member ID.

If there are any errors, correct the information, then select Enroll again.

When finished enrolling families, simply select another menu item.
