You can update a member's name, address, and other eligibility information all at the same time in the Update Member screen. You can get to this screen in three different ways:
The instructions here are for the last option. However, once at the update screen, the instructions are the same.
You terminate a member's eligibility by changing the member's Eligibility Status to Inactive (or Dependent Enrollment Only, if the dependents remain covered but not the subscriber) and entering the termination date in the Eligibility Effective Date field. When you terminate a subscriber, any members under that subscriber are also terminated, with the same effective date.
You reinstate a member's eligibility by changing the member's Eligibility Status to Active and entering the reinstatement date in the Eligibility Effective Date field. When a subscriber is reinstated, you have the option of reinstating dependents who were under that subscriber.
